Organic Garden Update 6/8/2012
6/8/2012
Here are some photos of where my organic garden stands at this point.
This is the first look at the bell pepper bed.

Red onions continue to grow healthy and strong.

Broccoli and Spinach has gone through a nice growth spurt. I have been able to have a few salads using the spinach greens. Broccoli still hasn’t shown signs of producing.

Squash and Zuchini have also goine through a major growth spurt. They are beigging to produce vegetables. Not large enough to pick yet.

Potatoes continue to grow strong. Dying back should begin to occur soon. Once it does, that is a signal of potato development.

Green beans are gaining speed, and have begun to climb the trellis.

Today I used fresh grass clippings to act as a natural mulch to help cut down on weeding. I also used rabbit manure a few days ago as a buried side dressed compost.
